action vs inaction
*Discuss inaction. Is one less guilty of a crime if they let it happen but did not take an active role in it?* *Compare inaction to action---Are there levels of guilt?* If someone lets something happen i do not think that they are as guilty as the perpetrator but they still have their share depending on the situation. lets say someone sees a person with a gun walking around gun but says nothing because they didn't feel like it. in that case they should probably feel more guilt. now lets say a single mother of two witnesses a murder, but knows the perpetrator from around her neighborhood and he sees her and threatens her. The mother doesn't say anything out of fear for her life and her children. now in this case its hard to say the mothers guilty because she could argue she was keeping her family safe.
Trust Issues
*Duncan says, “There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face: / He was a gentleman on whom I built absolute trust.”* *Discuss the *issue of trust*. Is it ever possible to truly trust someone? Be sure to cite evidence on both sides of the issue. * it depends, there are many of factors that go into whether or not someone has your trust. have they showed themselves to be trustworthy?, how long have you known them?, will they tell anyone else? it also depends on who that person is. family can sometimes be more trustworthy than others but not all the time. whether or not someone is trustworthy depends on who they are and their personality. if you've known someone for a while then you can usually tell if their trustworthy or not. the longer you've know a person and how close you are to them usual help you find out if their trustworthy.overall it all depends on the person, and if they are trustworthy.
Unseamed from nave to chops
*Why do you think the author had Macbeth win, though he wrote Fortune seemed to favor MacDonwald? What sort of man fights like Macbeth did? * ** * i think the author had Macbeth win even though fortune smiled on his foe to show that Macbeth can overcome fate. By having Macbeth win even though the odds weren't in his favor it shows us that Macbeth is a force to be reckoned with and he creates his own opportunity. MacBeth fights like a ruthless man. he didnt just kill his enemy. he murdered him and made an example out of him. not only did he cut open his entire upper body, but he cut his head off and stuck it on a pike.

Predictions
*Do predictions come true because they were destined to come true, or because people make them happen because it was predicted (like a self-fulfilling prophesy)?*
I believe that predictions come true because people make them happen. when someone is given a prophecy and they truly do believe in it then chances are subconsciously they will make that prediction come true. whether its through an increase in confidence or a decrease, prophecies can have a have a huge effect on someone depending oh how much they believe in it. one example is in the play Oedipus Rex where a seer says to a king that his son will grow up to kill him. in fear of this the king sends his son to be killed and in turn starts to make the prophecy come true since the child survives and kills him later in life. now if that prophecy was never made none of the events that led up to the son killing the father would've happened.
